What's up FI!!!

I hope all are well. Here are your updates for this week:

- KSI PROPHETx7 is now Co-Fo over Shift and Octane!

- Shift is now headed by Mr. General KSI Crackers52, please congratulate both of these men on their promotions!

- KSI Hook 7 is now Co-Fo over Apex and Torque!

- Apex is now courageously led by its new General KSI Batocie, please give him many kudos on his accomplishment!

- Our Recruit Training program is back up and running strong. For any needs regarding the Recruit Tag, KSI FI RECRUIT, please see me. Ensure you are sending your new hires to that tag, and not the old Dark Legions one. Also, make sure that your officers are sending Friend Requests so that they can train our new folks.

- We had a SGT workshop last night ran by our Shift friend KSI SERAPHIMx, so those of you who were lucky enough to learn how to put it down like a proper SGT last night please thank her and KSI PROPHETx7 who was on hand for assistance. I imagine there will be more where that came from, so see one of them for info.

- CAPTAIN and STAFF SERGEANT TESTS: I have tasked KSI Azrael 7 (Co-Fo for Velocity and Fuel) with the test management for our division. As of last night, he is your go-to person.

- Please help him out by sending him WRITTEN messages of who needs to take the test, and having your test taker do the same, WRITTEN. This is much easier for the test giver to do over xbl.com on a computer, so doing this will be a huge time saver and ensure you get your tests faster so you can get your promotions done quicker.

- CPT test is 85% to pass, and SSG test is 80% to pass.

- If you pass, wait for your GENERAL to promote you, do not ask Azrael for this as you will be looked at blankly.

- If you fail, you should review your failure immediately and then slit your wrists, then, 4 days later you may retake the test if you survived.

- A VERY BIG THANK YOU, to everyone, especially KSI Azrael 7, and KSIxAPOCALYPSE7 who has helped to get this off the ground, this division split came at a tough time for me with my personal life. I'm still dealing with some things and making as much time as I possibly can. Thank you for bearing with me, and working with these fine gentlemen, showing your patience and what this KSI family is all about.

Forced Induction Thursday Weekly Update 4/19/12:

What's up Forced Induction!

Here's the lowdown for this week (sorry it's a day late!):

Forced Induction sits at 317 today, let's get that number higher this weekend and get those recruits on the tag trained!

We are in line to hit Flagship Status in KSI Record Time, which was one of our main initial goals. If we can hit 350 by next weekend (just getting the recruits trained will put us at about 330), we will have hit this record, which will be superfreakingAWESOME and I'll be soooooo happy I might even hand out *****jobs!!

I'd love everyone to work toward that, but never forgetting that this is all about having fun and enjoying ourselves, each other and making new friends!

Not a whole lot going on in the way of changes. Unfortunately due to life obligations and time constraints Mattalac has had to reduce his role in Velocity, and Azrael 7 will act as the interim general of the squad until a worthy replacement is found. We hope to see Matty back in action soon so he can continue to be the standout General he is!

The forum activity for our squads and division is great, we're already climbing the post# counts and we continue to focus on getting missing members to join. But let's keep our activity climbing, while we have a lot of activity, it is concentrated from smaller groups of people... we have lots more that should be on!

Our Age limit is 16+ with the occasional exception made for an... exceptional... candidate. NOBODY under 14 will be accepted under any circumstance.

As always, our Division is about Quality, Performance, Speed, and Dominating the Competition. That said, we look at KSI like family and even though FI's squads have developed close bonds with each other, we still have open lobbies and tournaments and activities for ALL of our community. Our actions speak louder than the competitions' words, so GREAT job to everyone on really embracing our family values!

Above all, never forget that we in Forced Induction should and will strive to be The Standard. That's our mission statement.

Hey all! Azrael here filling in for Veil! its thrusday yet again and you all know what that means! its the weekly update!

okay to start off here we have the update of our current member count which is sittin pretty at around 332 thats including people on the recruit tag. Other points of interest are as follows.

You have a 2 week grace period after a split to get yourself back up to flagship status if you don't then you will be put down to Fleet status

Tell members to stop adding random 7's they should not add them unless you meet and talk to them its turning into a security risk you should only be adding 7's that are in your division or that you know.

Weekend Warfare will be held this week by Lazar its Grifball.

You can't use a shoutbox to send out your personal messages you don't want to give luci a reason to black list someone off the shout box

LB is not a place you recruit 9 year olds or whatever. so stop sending him to Luci send them to Gogeta he allows 13 year olds

division transfers go like this they have to go through apoc and the other director of the squad you want to take from.. there is a 2 week hold on promotions and he gets a 2 rank demotion

when you remove someone from your squad or division you need to have yoru cofo or above go onto the leaders portion of the forum and let them know and keep it updated!

GSF are trying to poach members keep an eye out for them and make sure you stay away from them!

Next on the list is that we all need to pull together and help our brother squad Fuel out, they are having a tough time of it and need your assistance! please get in touch with me, veil, prophet hook, anacondaz, or livinghell to see what you can do to help but we can't slack on this guys!

got 2 weeks worth of meeting notes here since i didn't get to post last thursday sorry about that guys i'll try to keep on top of this!

• Youtbe and KSI, We need to get a stronger presence on Youtube and we are going to start putting up more videos. Balphy is going to be in charge of the official KSI Youtube Video. Queen Jess is going to be Posting threads in each division for you guys to post your profiles for COD Elite and Bungie profiles for submitting videos. Once a video is submitted it cant be taken back its in. If a division has a youtube account please talk to balphy we are trying to watch what is being posted so we can keep things positive and not negative.
  
• The KSI Blacklist is on the Access Denied, anyone can find it there but try to keep it to SGT and UP.
  
• FA SR and CE need IA representatives
  
• Get people on the right forums, this is the right forum, put it in every squad tag/ recruit tag
  
• Suggestion box is up in the site command area use it to send suggestions you think will make KSI better.

Meeting Notes

1. For the time being until the end of June there will be no more division splits to insure that we focus on activities not this mass recruitment the community has been set on for a while now.

2. On the note of the last message We are pushing to the extreme that members spend the time with their members this is what makes KSI. Recruitment means nothing without going and getting these people involved. We have been stuck in this frame of mind that with recruitment comes leadership and this is not will never be the main outlook for our leadership. The focus should always be on the activity and focus on the members that this person shows.

3. The more you play with your members the less drama/problems the squad will have. If the members are constantly having something to get involved with they wont sit back and dwell on drama. This isn't something to take lightly this is going to be the main change that KSI is going to be taking as a whole we will do anything to keep this as our focus for leadership.

4. We have open door policy but at the same time we have a chain of command so remind you please if the leadership close net to you can deal with the situation please go to them so that we can keep organization with our leadership.

5. We all here know what it means to be an Active member but it seems now of days that Generals have a hard time knowing if this person should be still considered active member or not so we need to specify what it means to be an active member.

6. We now allow for two moderators per division (with this when we look for new Forum Mod we look at these section mods for future mods)

7. We will be having a KSI meet up at Kalahari Resort April 3-6 and the cost is ranging from 180 to 250 to be determined and we need to get a estimate on how many people are thinking of getting involved so send a message to KSI iLLuSii0N 7 if you think you might be going or think that you might.

8. From now on the Division Leaders Meetings will be ran on both Halo and Call of Duty to insure that every member get the same treatment and gets to get involved in these meetings if possible.

9. If you haven't already send KSI QueenJess 7 the times in which you run your Generals meeting so that we can have a weekly sub in on occasion.

10. Battle Rights - Teams of Ten that represent our division that would rep your division for MW3 we will be having leagues and practices in the future.

10 Man Teams to represent your division. And a Manager to run the the team.

1. Fast Promotion Policy - All promotions that are done by the Generals must go through their cofounders so that they can check for any fast promotions and things of that nature. Cofounders are held responsible for if anyone gets fast promoted (1st - rank suspension 2nd - possible demotions) and same goes for the General if he doesn't send the cofounder the names that he/she is thinking about promoting.

2. Cofounders need to be knowing the LTs and higher in their squads if they don't know these people how are they to know if they are ready for the upcoming promotions or demotions.

3. Leaders Section need to be read by Div Leaders this is important topics that there for a reason. This is our major source on contact between divisions to keep track of records.

4. Going off of that we are now allowing Founder or Higher to get access to the leaders section of the forums. This is now a mandatory rule that the Founders and up need to be added to this group. If you are a Founder or up and haven't got access to this section you must go to RaggyBear (Rags) to get your access to this section.

5. We have been preaching this for a good month or two now. Why aren't we getting representatives to be IA officers for their division. This is a mandatory position that needs to be filled by one of your Cofounders and up.

6. If you have free time or just want to get more involved in KSI we have alot of projects you can get involved in we currently have these spots open and are looking for applications.

- Head of Productions

7. We have a live stream every Monday at 7 PM eastern on Twitch.tv/KSILive. Where we go over the weekly updates and things that are happening within KSI.

8. We have sealed in again a non-agression pack with MEA. This holds both KSI and MEA responsible for actions taken on either side.

9. We have some huge future plans set that we are thinking of running a huge event every 3 Months as long as we keep up what we are doing. So get ready for the new upcoming ideas!

10. Welcome KSI KiKi 7 to the board of directors as our new Director of Tournaments. (No power to BL)

11. Education department are looking for new mentors for their future staff. These are requirements to join the team.

12. Kalahari Trip will be going on April 3-6. We currently have two deadlines you can hit. First if by June 16 have in a 50 dollar downpayment on paypal (ksieventfund@live.com). If you put in the downpayment by this time you will get a free tshirt at the event. If you cant do that you have a second deadline where the rest of the 250 dollars for the whole event needs to be payed on July 1st. This includes hotel stay, water park (indoor and outdoor), and some dinners or lunches payed through KSI. If interested and need some information get with KSI iLLuSii0N 7.

1. Access Denied is totally off. Access Denied needs to be logged in once every 3 days and if it isn't the leaders need to check with them before a Senior Leader removes their access. This will not be tolerated anymore. Access Denied must always match your squadtag! Cofounders should be checking this to make sure that squads are keeping it updated!

2. On that same note the squad tag need to be signed in day if possible if the squad tag isn't sign on for a whole week how is things keeping up to date? If squadtag isn't be signed on how is Access Denied being kept up or how is the general doing his/her job?

3. Access Denied for all squads need to updated 100% by Friday or the squads will be getting flipped or possible shut downs. This needs to be done by the upper leadership if the General isn't doing their job. Again Access Denied is how the leaders are able to see what happening in the squads that they can't get to so how they going to be able to help if they don't know what is going on?

4. Forum activity needs to be used by the leaders from LT and UP. Main reason we need to get our Generals to post Meeting Notes for everyone within the end of Monday. Last week we only had 6 out of almost 100 squads post on time. This won't be acceptable and the division leaders need to make sure that the squads are posting this otherwise how do we know they are really even running their squad meetings?

5. We need to change our mentality in KSI from striving to be good enough squad/division to being the greatest division. As posted by Apoc in the Leaders section why haven't we had a power house division, because the lack of motivation to become that.

6. New policy: To become a General or Higher you have to be 16 or Above. No exceptions other than the people that been in the position already they will be grandfathered into this new policy. We are doing this to minimize the amount of problems we get with the younger leaders. We are a Mature Gaming Community it time we start showing it.

Ex. If you were a new recruit would you stay if your General was 14?

7. To remind people we have a 1 Strike Policy on anyone under the age of 17 in KSI.

8. Hate to have to bring this up again and again but we been having constant amount of problems with people still running around with the pot leaf emblems and titles in COD. We don't want this representing our leaders or our community please get with the members to get them to realize why we push this so much.

9. New Directors for some divisions. This includes ... FN - Blitzer, FI - iLLuSii0N, DL - APOC

10. Call of Duty Elite Events can be found in the message of the day on the elite page if you looking in getting involved in our events.

11. Everyone needs to step up, we are no longer rolling with good anymore! Lead by example. (Everyone)!!!!

4. HR staff are looking for some dedicated members to join their staff. This will involve working on training classes and other future projects. Please send in an application in the Human Resources part of the forums.

5. KSI N1NJA 7 will be running a Swat 2v2 Tournament on Sat at 8pm Eastern. Sign up with your two players today. The prizes for the winners will be 800 MSP for each.

1. Battle is in its 4th/5th Round. Weekend Warfare will be 8pm Saturday on MW3 and the gametype will be Team Defender 4v4.

2. Founders and up who doesn't have access to the leaders section of the forums need to get in contact with the seniors to get in contact with rags to get access to the leaders section.

3. Division Leaders who aren't going to the division leaders meeting need to tell their representative what is going on in the division so that they can talk about what going on in their divisions.

4. As for Division Stats we need go into further detail as what is happening and what plans you have for your guys divisions. If you have any problems that your working on please also bring it up at this time.

5. Weekly Update will be happening on Monday at 7pm eastern on twitch.tv/ksilive.

6. If you miss last week weekly update we announced the KSI Spirit Week. We are going to celebrating everything we have done in the last months. This will be a whole week event. Details will be announced on the livestream this monday.

10. Use the Internal Affairs Officers, when a situation comes up that might be considered a threat make sure to bring it to the IA officers of your divisions.

11. MoB members or people with MoB in their list need to be sent to LB. (Not a threat at the current time but for security reason will be sent to LB. NO Questions !!!)

12. Access Denied activity is better but we still have room for more involvement.

13. Any divisions that don't have a director, the directors and seniors are here for you if anything pops up. Future plans are set in place and things will be handled as soon as we can.

Forum activity: If you are a ranked leader (LT and higher) you should have A> forums account B> use it activly.

Squad activity: Members are feeling unnoticed and ignored becuase the squad leadership isnt playing activly or actualy being around to meet the members.

Squad tag activity: To many generals are NOT signing their tags in Daily.....this is causing a huge discrepancy and lack of motivation and activity.

Leadership....and duties: People need to pull their head out of their asses......people have a slump yes. but thts no excuse for allowing your division to fall apart....cofounders shouldnt be cofounders for just splitting squads.

People who are running divisions....should be doing exactly that...run their divisions......Anger has been growing at the apparent lack of of attention or caring from specific individuals.

Squad and division transfers.........People really need to ensure that ALL members of a division understand how these work....to many people are breakung the rules and bypassing them all-together.....its now become a huge issue.

Rushing squad splits and division splits. People are rushing these and it causes rank lock and entire divisions full of issues becuase of speeding thru everything and causes lack of training and information

Promotions.....biassed as hell promotions have been occuring....we will not tolerate the squads promoting their "friends" or people they like.....becuase this is causing stagnation and disgruntled members who will often be the ones who turn out to be the ones harming divisions.

Recruiting (mentoring)

When recruiting we know that the policy of recruiting and mentoring is strict....if you are mentoring people that means exactly that Do not just supply them with all they need to know in the space of an hour

Recent alerts of Sexual Harassment By male members of KSI to Female members.

1: Okay I keep coming across this a lot of our Younger members and older members have this thing about the second they hear a girls voice....or become aware of their being girls in either their squad or division....and even other divisions......They hound them and pressure them for information, like phone numbers..... Old issue..yes but still a recurring one that always carries Legal ramifications.

(Granted Females who are actively abusing their Female attributes to get what they want. will be dealt with..its not acceptable)

Divisional Aid and help

Impressing it upon the divisions that if they need Help...they can ask us. If we see an issue that needs to be addressed we will offer any and all advice or criticism possible to aid in the correction of issues. Including supplying them with Information based Aid topics and even personal Workshops to Help them learn the skills to solve issues that Can come up.

Recruitment Age.

Okay so its been a while since the updated COC Stating the absolute Minimum age to be recruited in is 15. However....there are still divisions "Authorizing" people to be recruited....that are under that....Clarification on the LOWEST age being 15. Maturity of the member Is a huge factor...while we will let it slide for a member being a month or so away from their birthday....15 is still the minimum.

Inactivity + removal

Inactivity period, Granted while some of these members offline for those periods are unranked...there are LT's CPT's and even Generals who do this or have done this....But were not removed.

*granted if suitable excuse is present, like military leave then those members retain that rank, just not guaranteed to hold that rank in the squad when they left, or family emergency , the general must be aware of the circumstance.

The Rule of Thumb needs to be impressed to them Go offline for 14+ days to 30 Days Maximum. you are removed for inactivity and lose your rank in the squad.

Squad activity + fast promotions

8: Squad activity to press upon them the importance of the following: Recruiting quality members, Maintaining active members, Valuing those who are putting in work. The importance of training the members from PVT thru to CPT to ensure Quality leadership is being created and utilized.

Fast promotions...they are happening. This cannot take place....the very reason we have time requirements for ranks is to grow the leadership and give them experience....otherwise Poop falls apart

Ranks (specifically what can kick from squads, what can kick from Divisions and what ones can remove from KSI

9: Make Sure that Divisions are aware of the following:

> Generals Can remove members from their Squad (with a Co-Founders consent)

> Co-Founders can transfer members between Squads in their own division (unless its a squad they are not over then they must talk to the other Co-Founder to arrange it)

> Founder, Co-Div, Div leader can remove members from their Division. (whichever is the highest rank at the time)

> Directors Can remove Members from Divisions who have caused Problems, or those who are being transferred to another division

> Senior Directors, This rank is the ONLY rank in clan ops and that can DNH or Black list members from KSI (2 or more Seniors needed for either) (brief explanation of what a DNH or Black list is could be needed in meeting) * this should be the final time that we should need to state this again because we are still seeing the messages of xxxperson is DNH from ET and other divisions...those still doing it face rank suspension,

Cutthroat attitudes to Ranking up (Quality control) and The miss conception that splitting a squad results in the general getting Co-founder.

> People who Fill squads fast and expect to be promoted....and people who feel just because they are online they should be ranked up....despite not doing much. Promotion of immature members to officer spots.

> This problem is more and More obvious and apparent.....Co-Founders being promoted Solely for Splitting a squad is causing Unstable squads and divisional issues to rise

Meeting Notes of the division Leaders meeting 5th September 2012

Dealing with people who have access to squad tag info and g14.

People have Been neglecting the basics here.

When punishing people who have access to this info. Make sure in the case of Squad tags it must be taken care of and Secured before the person is dealt with. As well as G14 being the back up copy of a squad tag Has also been secured, Directors Have to know in advance

Squad tags:

Their security and usage.

Keeping these secure is crucial to the system of running and operation's your division.

Incorrect usage of them = bad things happen to your division when these are not handled correctly

Leaving them offline for days at a time = members not being informed and new recruits giving up on joining becuase somebody didnt feel like signing into their squad tag.

Within the next few weeks Any general in possession of Squad tags who are not using them or keeping them active and informing the members, Can face losing the privilege of the squad tag system.

**Generals Hit by the recent storm and who are suffering poor-/-No internet access need to be covered so if you are affected by this please get your division leader in contact with your Director to cover this.

Use it Or Lose it.

Members asking for division transfers that have been following correct process.....are being ignored by the leaders in their division so they naturally bypass them to skip right to the director or higher.

If you are busy...take the time to try and respond by text if at all possible.

Granted we cant join every single party invite or respond to every single issue or message due to the high chance we are distracted by an issue that takes priority.

Access Denied:

This Poop needs to be updated......Even if it means the Div leader has to be the one to sit down and update it.

For those without computer access...if they are a member of the beta Internet explorer update for xbox......you have no excuses. This will also mean that those who claim they cant update.....they shouldn't be a general....Access Denied is the safe back up list for your Division...failing to update it will result in your division being inaccurate and potentially a huge concern for if the squad or division tags are hit.

DBD is Not Black Listed. Complaints were raised by DBD that they were being told they are black listed.

When people say somebody is black listed....if it doesn't state they are on our Black list then they are not Black listed.

Kindly Realize that lying about Black lists is something that can face the potential effect of themselves being DNH or worse for trying to undermine good relations.

The AAP is a Program within KSI that issues and awards Members Based upon if they have both Earnt the awards nominated and that the evidence Provided to the Staff of the AAP backs them up on their Nomination.

Just because you get say 100 people voting for you....if they don't provide evidence then you will in all likely hood fail to get an award. This is not a popularity contest

Some of the directors will begin to rank suspend people who opt to not update G14 because they don't feel its important.

Generals have access for squads for a reason: Its their Job to update G14 and their squad...don't do it for them.

When people leave.....they are not Guaranteed any rank higher than SGT.

The ONLY 2 exceptions to this are:

Military personnel who go on duty and when they return they are allocated if possible their original rank, or close too when or where possible.

Extreme rare circumstance when regarding retired and current Board members wishing to come back to clan ops but has to be cleared by the senior directors and chief of staff.

Recruiting

We are noticing even with the new games out....that people are still failing to even try to find recruits.

We have literally got Thousands of untapped players who could join KSI but people who are so Fond of the party chat bubble...are simply missing them.....thru sheer lack of effort. Or rolling with zero free spaces in a lobby meaning no randoms could be able to join in.

How do you expect to grow.....if you don't even bother to try to bring in people to join in the fun of KSI?

- Halo 4

due to the annoyance of a lot of people not having mics in, Bring them into a party.....this simple method is surprisingly effective for getting recruits and people to be interested in KSI.

Playing in game chat.....because that way you can coax people to put in mics

playing free for all like regicide or flood where people are more prone to talk.

Running smaller lobbies in big team to allow randoms to be on your team.

- Black ops 2

recruiting is no where near as hard on B-ops2.

People play with mics in....there is no excuse aside from laziness to fail at finding recruits.
