We, over here at Phoenix, have 59 members. Of those 59 members, 38 of them have KSI in their name. That marks for a 64% "KSI Tag" ratio. I challenge you to go above and beyond that, if you haven't already. I may or may not give a prize to a certain general if they can attain such a feat. XGN Zannah 7 205 Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 Hey officers I would like you guys to review this (very good stuff to know as LTs and CPTs) Lieutenant's Workshop These are the notes I took down for anyone interested in the Lieutenant Workshop and either missed out or simply want a review 1:GET TO KNOW THE MEMBERS OF YOUR SQUAD! These are the future members and leaders in KSI. It is also beneficial to personally get to know as many members of your squad as possible so that you not only get to know them personally but it also keeps them active as well as is simply refreshing for everyone to know their family members! 2: BE ACTIVE WITH MEMBERS! in making lobbies, inviting them, and playing with them in public matches. This helps keep them interested, helps you get to know them and them get to know you, and is also a GREAT way to get quality interested recruits who truly are interested in KSI and want to be a part of the community. This is also why it is important to follow CoC (Code of Conduct) in public matches. To show the world what KSI is all about. A friendly, mature gaming community 3: LEAD BY EXAMPLE! People in general are not keen to the "Do as I say not as I do" approach. This applies especially in KSI. You as a Lieutenant should be doing everything you expect of a lower ranking member and much more! If you are actively recruiting/training/playing with other members/etc. then they too will want to do that if they see how hard you are working yourself they will want to help and pitch in. It is the best way to get members to do things and show qualities you would like to see is to first do it yourself on a daily basis. That way when they become Lieutenants they will already have begun doing things they should be as well as becoming fine members of our community themselves. 4: BACKGROUND CHECKS! This is a very important part of the recruitment process and should be done right away on any individual prior to them joining and continuing through the recruitment process. If you are not sure on how to properly perform background checks, get with your officer staff of your squad to have them train you as to the proper background checking procedure prior to you recruiting, if you think you have done a background check on someone properly but feel uneasy and unsure please feel free to contact a higher ranking member of your squad before continuing, we must keep our family safe!!! 5: BE ACTIVE ON THE FORUMS! Obviously if you are reading this you have a forums account but dont stop there!! Be active get on regularly and post on topics, talk to people in the shout box, etc. The forums are a great tool for you to use as well as a key communications hub for all things KSI!!!! 6: SHOULD BE ABLE TO RECITE RANK STRUCTURE FROM Recruit TO Senior Director. as follows- Recruit, Private, Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, 1-4 Lieutenant, 1-4 Captain, General, Co-Founder, Founder, Co-Division Leader, Division Leader, Director, Senior Director. You should also know who fills those spots in your respective squads. 7: MEMORIZE CoC!!!! (Code of Conduct!!!) You should be able to have most if not ALL of the Code of Conduct memorized ready to recite in any case. This way you can be a LEADER!!! If someone is breaking Code of Conduct and you memorized it you will be quickly able to correct the situation. Thus taking uneeded pressure of off the General of the squad as well as the Captains. It enables you to lead by example, as well as enable you to swiftly resolve problems that could grow potentialy worse within your squad, dont be afraid to be "The Bad Guy" You would be doing your squad a disservice by not correcting a situation before it could damage the squad. Obviously you should also memorize it so you know your duty and the rules of KSI and can be an exemplary member and Lieutenant. These are the Notes that I took down from "KSI Jiggy 7"'s Lieutenant Workshop. I take no credit for this. This is a workshop he held and took his time to teach us and help us, all credit goes to him! I can get on and play halo but, its as if theres no gamer profiles and I can't send messages I see your able to sign in now tempah, can you send messages or view profiles? I still can't I dont know textured, I still can't send messages, join parties or view profiles. I CAN play halo or anything online and join sessions in progress.....weird right? You can add me on SKYPE @ KSITheEnforcer and on KIK @ KSITheEnforcer... If i'm not on XBL try those two forms of communication and you should be able to reach me. So how bout this crappy connection for XBL. It's so frustrating not being able to send messages. OH!!! and its double XP on Cod this weekend so if you guys wanna play some Cod then add me on XBL or message me on skype or PM me on the forums and we can party up and play some double XP together.
