This is about getting with the new members coming in and introducing them to the real KSI Experience. Helping sign-up for forums accounts, explaining to them Weekend Warfare, WebOps, etc. Our job as a Committee is to maintain that KSI experience we were all told about when we were recruited. "Our Job is to make sure they feel welcome! That they don't get "lost" in recruitment or training. Make sure they get the ksi experience they deserve and understand c.o.c and everything that comes along with KSI." - MUDDYGIRL These things are what the committee is all about. Getting with the newer members of your squad and giving them everything they need to know about KSI (Weekend Warfare, WebOps, Meeting Times, Forums, etc) along with gaming with them and introducing them to people like their officers, General, and even their 7's if you'd like. It's all a process to familiarize them with other members and make them feel at home and welcome. We need more activity on this topic. - Head of LW Welcoming Committee, Starset I will have a couple tomorrow for this but you also need to keep in mind that this is not the only activity in KSI going on right now. Also, any higher officers and Gens are going to have to do it when they can. We dont have a lot of free time and what little we do we need to interview a new rct who may not be on at that time and get on here and post their answers. Just try to be a bit more patient with the comments about posts. With Spirit week approaching, meetings, squad issues, trainings, recruits, and then trying to play at all, I hope you understand. This is a great thing you started, but keep in mind, it gets put on top of a long list of things already going on. I should have atleast 3 or so on here tonight or tomorrow. What do you think about squad members as a whole being interviewed? I thing that would be a good idea as well. Maybe we could find out what others already in KSI think about it. We can still post it in here and do the interview when we can but to have the ones training them off is a great idea. They are already in the party with them and they have has a few days waiting on the rct tag to develope an opinion as well. Very good. Thanks. Basically we could have the people doing the training do the interviews and have the people on the welcoming committee follow up with the new member after a few days of being on the squad tag, this would give them a chance to maybe have noticed some things that they might have ideas for us to improve on.
