Gamer-KSI_Master 30 Posted November 25, 2014 Report Share Posted November 25, 2014 what I mean is simple. each division in KSI take their best players at minecraft and put them in a single team. every few months there will be a tournament to see which division is the best at minecraft. the 7's will decide what the theme will be for each tournament, whether is a mid-evil theme, futuristic theme, a city, a fleet of sailing ships and/or space ships, etc. all the teams will have 1 month to complete their map, depending on how the big the map is supposed to be. each team will get their own map to build on, either flat or regular, and the 7's will act as judges and will decide which team is the winner of the tournament based on creativeness, originality, and the design of the map that each team has created. the team that wins the tournament will then receive a prize from the 7's (it will be their choice of what the prize will be). only the division members that are on the team and were involved in building the map will get the prize. although only the minecraft team members will get the prizes, the division that the team came from will get a good name for itself for winning the minecraft tournament. I believe this is a great idea. while building the map the players will have a chance to bond with their fellow division members and will make even more friends when they compete in the tournaments. I've noticed that when you are in a single squad, you only know the KSI members of the squad you are in, and have little to no interaction with other division members. this is how squads fall, because they have little no to interaction with other squads in their division. this will severely decrease the activity level of a squad, which will eventually make it cease to exist. but by doing this tournament, many different squads in each division will be able to interact with one another and will in fact get activity back up. this is the path I believe we must take in order for KSI to flourish as a whole. Gamer-KSI_Master 30 Posted November 26, 2014 Report Share Posted November 26, 2014 yes like I said if we were to create an LS minecraft team we can make a good name for ourselves. other divisions can do the same. this will help get squads become more active and can even lead to the creation of new squads!! anyways im glad some of you like my idea. trust me it will benefit KSI as a whole and I also prefer the medieval theme for when building minecraft. when it comes to that sort of style you can easily come up with ideas for maps that you are building on either survival or creative. everything that I have ever built on minecraft has a mix of modern and medieval style of creativity. another reason why I prefer that sort of style is because during the middle ages, people could only obtain food by herding animals and growing crops (I am really good at doing both very quickly when it comes to minecraft ). anyways, I hope the higher ups of the KSI organization consider this idea of mine. and if they like it, I do have other ideas that can benefit KSI as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... I live underground like a mole as I carve out the world, looking for precious minerals to make equipment with and underground caverns full of lava and people to kill. Building intricate houses with nice colors, doors, stairs, decorations and the like is too tedious for me, and I'd just as soon hop up blocks as climb some stairs.
