Some spectacular nature experiences the far north is absolutely stunning. If you want culture and big city life, coming to any of the biggest cities is best. I live in Stockholm, and even if you might think I'm biased, it is an absolutely amazing city, it's hard to find it's equivalent in beauty! Basically the city is scattered over quite a few islands, and anything in the town itself is close enough that you can walk there really. There is this crazy mix of old, semi-old and new architecturally speaking, there is lots of nature close by (water, parks, walkways, small forest areas), as well as lots of culture, museums, food experiences and obviously shopping too. Everyone I've spoken to thinks this is am exceptional city, so it's not just bias If you want more of a small city experience, there are lots of towns to visit, and it's easy to get to them by train, car or bus. If you as an example first go to Stockholm, you have one of the most inhabited areas of Sweden around (Mälardalen, or the Mälar valley, though really it's a huge area and not just a valley), and in this area wh have a lit of really old and history-filled towns that are easily reachable within an hour or a few short hours by either bus or train (or car, but public transportation works just as fine)). Umm, any other tips...?
