Well, if it wasn't for the universal laws of the ozone layer, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. If it hadn't of gone and got that big a** hole in it, then the UFO wouldn't have been able to get through. Now, though, this scenario is all to plausible. Taking into consideration all the variables at hand, I'm going to keep this simple. The aliens aboard the UFO have harnessed the power of time travel and so have dropped him off at the exact same time as when they took him...however, being unable to use our localized GPS system, they do not know where they picked him up, therefore they dropped him off in cleveland, OH instead Glasgow, MO. Also, for testing purposes, the aliens kept the tortoise in a state of suspended animation, therefore, when they dropped him off, he retained all momentum from the catapult as well as not aging one bit. So, upon being dropped off, he continues flying through the air. now because of Ohio's spontaneous weather habits, he flies straight into a lightening storm only to be struck there and then. Thus, taking into consideration all the aforementioned variables, we can deduce that the tortoise is in fact, two hours younger then when he was abducted do simply impart to the timezone difference.
