Major Rank - As of today 12/5/12 no more promotions to the rank of Major will be taking place as this rank has proven to be unnecessary for the successful growth of squads and it's leadership. All member currently in this position will remain until promotion or other opportunities present themselves. 2. Officer Ratio for squads - For all squads there is a set expectation of officer to member ratios. What senior leadership looks for is the following: 50 members - 50% officer squad 75 members 75% officer staff 85 members and up (preparing for squad split) 100% officer staff. Please enforce the following ratios within squads to maintain proper growth and leadership training. 3. Private Lobbies on Games - If you are wondering how random people are joining your game lobbies, you might want to check and change your lobby privacy settings. Stop Relying on Old Leaders - Focus on the new motivated members whom want to go places - When Old leaders see new motivated leaders they will step up. 2. We need New Blood - We have been working hard on our training core for the past 3 months and it has worked well - So lets go get the recruits to match our leadership so we can grow and give opportunities for members 3. LAZINESS IS NO LONGER AN OPTION - No More sitting back and waiting on the rank - No More lazy 7s - We are locking down on this! 4. Work on being Consistent with your activity - Keep yourself motivated (Playing with members, talking with leaders) - Keep involved in gamenights and squad level 5. Your only as strong as the team your with. So work hard with your team to keep them all motivated and involved. 6. When squads get closed/shut down in any division let Senior Directors know, also make sure everyone is transferred over to another squad. 2.)Make sure you are enforcing the 7 day rank suspension to members who don’t have a valid reason prior of the removal of the member. Let Apoc know if the members were rank suspended or not. 3.)If you want to be taken seriously in this community come up with a serious name. not KSI IbangUrMom, etc. if your caught with an inappropriate you will be rank locked until your name is changed. AND NO 7!!! 4.)If you’re a leader and need access to the “leader section†go to your directors. 5.)Battle right’s is starting up soon make sure your division has a BR team. It’s a fun way to play and see what division is the best of the best. Want bragging rights? Go kick some ass and remember keep it fun. 6.)Cero is posting a lot more in the divisions section. Insure you guys are keeping active on the forums and also in your designated areas. 7.)For internal affairs we need to update our list and get every single division in IA. We are lookin for more leadership. We are looking forward to two new squads. which is going to be awesome. SH-276, we have had a huge spike in recruiting and activity. We are working on training and getting things settled. DR-345, the recruit tag is full. We are going to focus more on security and making members more aware. Security procedures are being taught. The thought of training for the future is being discussed. DM-298, Had a few issues with Bills KSI and poaching. We are having a few issues with squads being stagnant but are trying to push them to get motivated. LB-145, Bills KSI took a squad out of LB. KSI AMUSE, KSI FEAR 7, and KSI CHARIZARD have gone to Bills KSI. Getting rid of Sabre. , LB is an educational division. FOLLOW the proper transfer protocol when transfering to or FROM LB. LB will no longer be called the prison division. AV-244, we are removing fluff from the squads. We are tryign to get more custom game nights going on to increase activity. Name Change: Light Bringer (LB) is now Wicked Intent (WI) Stats: When stats are given, they need to go off of the Tags, not the G14. We need to know how many are in the squads and if G14 is correct or not. Clan-Ops/Web-Ops: Integration. To start, it has to start on Clan-Ops side. From now on, if a member is banned on the forums for breaking the CoC or a handbook violation, they will be rank suspended in Clan-Ops. Forums are not a different entity; we all follow the same CoC whether on Xbox or Forums. Active Forums Accounts: Anybody who is an Officer or higher must maintain an active forums account. There is no reason an Officer’s account should go inactive. It takes 2 weeks to go inactive. 1st time: Rank Suspension 2nd time: Demotion. From here on out, those who do not follow the rules (i.e. pile-jumping offers to applicants) will be banned from the section. Flow of Information: Information needs to be passed along. It is getting old that the information is not being passed down. When we go over it, it is expected to be passed along. This needs to change. It is getting old to have to rehash this week after week. If you’re not accessing the site, what sort of example are you setting for your Generals? The site is important, so be active on there EVERY DAY. Gamertags- No names are allowed that violate the Code of Conduct, especially for Leaders. No leadership roles for people who break the rules with their names. It sets a bad example. G14 Updates- New thread in Leader’s Area that is used for access or name changes. Recruiting and Training- Divisions must be aware and using the Recruiting and Training Processes thread. Internal Affairs- Apoc is looking for a new Co-Head. Must have been in KSI for at least 10 months and must have a good KSI background, Founder or higher, and a good work ethics. Messages must be sent to Apoc on the forums and must detail why they would want/be good at the job. Closes on the 17th of April, decision will be made the 18th. KSI is such a diverse gaming community, you will have people that you like and others you don't like, but you will show some damn respect and keep it moving. This place is ever evolving and it takes EVERYONE to make this place function as it should and it's really up to you all to make this home yours. Take ownership. Don’t hesitate to purchase points for your divisions, or KSI as a whole, and donate both a percentage of your purchase and the points to the benefit of the community. DNH/Blacklist/Security Risk: DNH (Do Not Hire): Person will not be allowed to come into KSI as per Seniors. Blacklist: Call made by Seniors where communications are blocked across all of KSI. Security Risk: Deemed per the specific division and must be spread by message. Communication: Facebook chat, Skype, KIK, etc. These forms of communications are not, and never will be, KSI’s primary form of communication. Xbox is the main form. These sources can help aid the communication process, but only in a complimentary manner. Do NOT get stuck by using only these forms. Forums Spam: Mod team is cleaning up spam topics and posts so the website can function better. Don’t get mad when posts/topics are deleted. Returning Members: In the Join Section, the Returning Members Policy has been updated. It has changed. Those wanting to hold rank must hold previous/lower rank in a squad for 2 weeks each if they previously held it. (Former General comes back. Comes back as a SGT. Adviser Rank: If somebody leaves for a long time when they’re rank is hindering another’s promotion. The move is lateral. Upon returning, the member stays Adviser for 1 week with Division Leadership evaluating. If that same rank isn’t available, that member takes a job 1 rank below the previous rank. (It is a temporary solution for people who leave for normally less than a month) (Adviser is also normally only given to Co-Founders and up; not used to retain a person in order to promote when they return) Division Transfer Rules: Remember the rules for these. Starting next week. Update to rule #9 about 15 year olds. 15 year olds are not to be generals, subject to one strike policy. Putting rules into black and white for advisor role. Advisors have to meet that criteria, or face removal. Anyone who is in a LT or higher rank in a squad who wishes to transfer, they have to get recruits and train their replacement. Of The Years: Posted in the KSI Leaders tab at the top of the forums. Finally posted. Whew. Project Leaders Meetings: Cero (Apocawaka) will be hosting Project Leaders Meetings on Sundays at 7 p.m. EST. Directors can go and observe and understand how the projects function. Courts: KSIxAPOCALYPSE7 is the new Head Judge for the KSI Courts. This should make IA and Courts work more cohesively. Also, applications are up for Judges. Go to the forums and apply if you want a chance to be a judge. (White wigs not included) L.E.A.D: No classes recently and there will be no real class started until after Spirit Week. However, Jess will be doing rank-specific workshops KSI-wide. (Aspects of ranks, not rank duties.) Utilize the resources available to gain as much knowledge as possible and pass it along. Security: Background checks need to be done and proper settings need to be implemented so that we can avoid unwanted disturbances. (Use Recruit Tag ALWAYS) Prizes: As of Spirit Week, KSI will be giving out some vinyl stickers and then it will be added to the store for purchase. Cheap, but a good way to rep KSI. All meetings should be held on Sunday and discuss the Spirit Week that starts on Monday, and there will be a Live Stream at 8 p.m. EST to usher in the week of festivities. EVERY BODY should be aware of the events that are going on, when the events start, and if registration is needed (when and where as well). Although some complications came to light, we still did an outstanding job. Bigger servers are in the near future. BILLS KSI is once again making blank threats to our community. Stay vigilant and keep your eyes peeled for suspicious Gamertags...if you dont know them or if it doesnt seem legit...hit up a 7. L.E.A.D....training programs are being revamped..applications are going to be posted for member who want to be mentors..if you got the stuff we want to see it. If you want to take the courses sign-up in the LEAD section of the forums. Reminder.......1. It is required of all ranks pvt and higher to have an active account on the forums. As of today reinforcement of the recruiting policy will be reinstated....5 rcts per squad per div...we know it wont happen every week, but we need a constant flow of RCT's to grow and make new opportunities for other member to become leaders. Sitting at the same rank for so long eventually becomes a pain in the butt. You feel trapped, and more or less obligated to do your rank detail. We need to do it for the GROWTH and DEVELOPEMENT of KSI...do it because you want to, not because you are told to.....Do it because you want to help your community, if you disagree with this then youre probably in the wrong place. It is not up to the Directors and Seniors to do that. Goals don’t always need to just be numbers. Goals can include forums activity, recruiting, training, game nights, activity, etc. Divisions aren’t just measure by splits, but by the fun and integration into the community they achieve. Opportunities need to be made available for everyone who is willing to strive and work for them. 7s Mixer: We have game nights in squads and divisions, now we will have game nights for 7s from across KSI to meet each other and play and have some fun. It should be a good time to relax and network with other leaders through KSI. Remember, these people will be leaders along with you for the foreseeable future. Communication is the key, and meeting and networking is the first step. KSI Praise: It’s important to know what is important in KSI. Maintaining and sustaining success and keeping momentum up. Weekly Update: Tomorrow (Thursday, 18 July) at 7:30 p.m. EST. It’s a fun broadcast of news and notes from around KSI and related information.
