Attention all Dark Legions Generals and other officers,

 

 

It's been a good first week being at %75 staff for squads, now that we are getting to where we need to be, we are being threatened with a squad split already!?! At any rate I wanted to point out some tools and other things that

 

reflect our commitment to our members, activity, and growth as well as the Code of Conduct Number Three. The obvious one being squad and division meeting notes. Included in this dark legions meeting notes section are topics for

 

officer trainings and workshops; post in there when applicable and include information like who hosted it when it was hosted who wast present for the meeting training or workshop and what was discussed. Furthermore there is a

 

topic for sergeant's workshops, all that will be necessary for that is who hosted it on what day and the other members who attended the workshop.

 

 

This is also applicable for our Dark Legions Division Section, were you found this chat, take a good hard look at it officers. Your members do, and so do people like me, your officer''s in charge.Topics include Game Night

 

Schedules. When you host a game night post in this topic what the game night was, like advanced warfare, Black ops II, Destiny, Minecraft, etc. Also include who hosted it, who attended and participated, and if you so choose you

 

can include the shenanigans that took place, as is stated in the Code of Conduct number three. This also shows people like me who can't be everywhere that good things are taking place in and with your squad. Another big one is

 

PROMOTIONS! Did someone just get promoted to say... Private? Corporal? Sergeant? or an officer? Share it with us! I know for fact that not everybody being promoted is being congratulated like we would want on xbox live, which is

 

in a game night or meeting and a message sent out on gamer tags telling everyone else what has just happened, so if you are doing all of that, use this too. Among other topics, include your squad chat, roll call, and Leave of

 

Absence topics. Officer's don't leave your members behind, and don't leave yourself behind. Use these topics and prove your time valuable to yourself and the division by integrating these things in your daily/weekly routine.

 

 

Finally while we are on the topic. Improved Training Standards are included to you by way of the Dark Legions Division Section. Officer's please go through and read the: Sergeants Training Guide, DL WORKSHOPS

 

CLASSES, and KSI Standards for Recruiting and Training Process's (and SOP). These are the things you need to familiarize yourself with on your own time, and when needed used over Xbox live in a party with the people you

 

will be training. Training over other applications, like KIK or email need to cease and desist immediately, continuing to do so is how activity and proficiency falters. Basically what I just said is to stop training people over Kik and

 

emails and never do it again, because that's why we have had problems with people not being as active and stuff. I know alot of the officer's if not all of the officer's that were doing that are no longer with us but I don't want to carry

 

on that tradition and if you would like I'd love to sit down with you and go over these training topics so you will know what to expect when it's done right in person over Xbox Live in a Party chat.

 

 

Consider this the Dark Legions' State of the Union Address, we have made vast improvements in recent weeks, and as such seem some changes in faces in our leadership among squads, as long as we continue to get it done

 

Doing it the right way, we will continue moving forward, having fun, and growing opportunities for each other. By implementing what was discuss up to this point, managing a squad will only get that much easier and activity running a

 

whole lot smoother. When we can see what is going on and everyone on the same page it can only go up from here. If forum's is what makes us a community, well hell, we should probably use it then, but mainly I just want to

 

understand that if you can't enjoy the forums as much as me, just know this that forums= Knowledge= activity. Without it, we are just another clan, and I can ask a lot of you members who were here before me, how was it working

 

out for you before? I know it's more work, but I know most of you were warned, because I was there for you training/ promotion but we are KSI Knowledge Strength and Integrity. A lot of activity is built on Knowledge and that

 

knowledge is here. Knowledge is power and people love them both which is what we build our strength on. Members is what gave you the opportunity to be an officer, the same is to be said if you wish to continue moving up in rank.

 

Our strength is our member base but also the knowledge programs and resources made available to both you as officers and those members. to not be getting involved in this, is to not only leave yourself behind, but those

 

members. Those programs and resources have already been put together and the knowledge shared, all is you have to do is, find it and share. Want to know a secret? That's solely the reason I am where I am at. I've done nothing

 

more than force myself the information share it with others, while bringing new members to KSI and in turn sharing the same information with them. Recruiting is a big part to providing yourself the opportunity to advance yourself to

 

lieutenant, captain, general, cofo, so on and so forth, but sitting down and taking time out of your day to go over this stuff is what will keep them interest and coming back for more along with Head Hunters and Gun Crowns.

 

Understand not everyone will be interested in being a leader, and some not for the right reason's so that's why we find ways to keep others entertained, but that's part of the job. You will be faced with many different challenges and

 

obstacles the longer you are an officer, the thing is, for you to run into something new, I'd suggest going to play the power ball that night, everything you could ever need to know and more is here. That's the benefit and in a shell is

 

what makes KSI, KSI. I close with this, Officer's of Dark Legions'; the change needed is here for us to come back a division of tradition, some of need to start building on team spirit for our officer staffs and squads but it's time to get

 

highly dedicated to this and highly motivated to move forward and give ourselves the opportunities by providing an encouraging positive upbeat environment, growing, and sharing what we've learned the only way, the right way, the

 

KSI way. General's not only are you the face of KSI for your member's but you ultimately decide the direction of your squad through activity and attitude, my advise is, when you feel down or hopeless, talk to your seven's. I'm not

 

saying I've seen it all, but I see things differently from you being outside of the squad. If you feel things are getting out of your control, don't hesitate, we won't make things harder for you, because every experience is a learning

 

experience whether your dealing with issue's or the politics. Be the strength your squad needs, know what your doing, and stay positive.
