    Division Meeting Notes: 1/9/19 Clan Operations Notes 2018 Award Show & “Of The Years” (OTY's) We will be closing out the year with our highly anticipated KSI Awards Show. This will feature a 2018 recap, a preview of goals and changes for 2019 and the Of The Year winner announcements. Gather some friends and start a "watch party"! ✦ Squad Tag & Omega (GEN's and up) All Generals - please ensure that you are regularly checking your Squad Tags and Omegas. It has come to our attention that there are squads and divisions housing potential fluff. Fluff can break a squad and be detrimental to a division. It is important that we are doing our jobs properly and efficiently. ✦ Mentality (Officers and up) It’s also important that we are leaders are always maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Everything filters from the top down and if we aren’t holding ourselves to the standards we set, how can we expect our members to do so? ✦ Division Leader Meeting Format Revision Removal - Recitation of stats and coverage of Web Ops notes. Goal is to better utilize time for Clan Ops specific inquiries and notes, as well as open more time for discussion. Incorporation - Utilization of 7’s meeting notes on a weekly basis to help hold all parties accountable, as well as creating productive and beneficial conversation for divisional improvement. Promote Open Sharing Environment - Discussion about what works and what doesn’t work. If there are struggles and issues, utilize net of resources (Senior Director Teams Director Team, Other Division Leaders, etc) to get advice and help. If something works, SHARE IT. If one division can benefit, they all might be able to. ✦ Security With the new year in full swing, security is always at the top of our list. Make sure we are checking all new recruits and rejoins thoroughly. Make sure we are actively sweeping the squad tags and Recruit Clubs. Fluff your Recruit Clubs often to minimize unnecessary tags. At this time, there is no new threat to KSI but we never know when one might emerge. If you we do these things now and make them a habit, hopefully new officers will learn to do the same. Department Operations Notes AAP The AAP is hiring! Applications to join the AAP Department will be open from Wednesday 1/9/19 through Friday 1/18/19. You can apply by finding and filling out the application located in the Join A Department section of the forums or going to the following link below. Please be sure to spread the word to anyone that may be interested!     Category: Sr. Director Gamertag: KSI Gambit 7 Forums Account Link: @KSI Gambit 7 Reasons they deserve this award - Although Gambit and I have bumped heads and such he has always had the best interest of KSI and me as leader in mind. When I first met Gambit I was Div Lead for ES and from the start he was a new look for me at the Director rank. He stepped into my Div it was a new ball game. I was never a fan of Directors because I thought they could do there jobs better. Well here came Gambit a totally different kind of leader and Director. I gave him such a hard time and aggravated him from the start. I made it VERY clear (I thought) that I WAS NOT ready to be a Director. Well as ES grew and Gambit was there for my every need I was promoted to Director. Not even a second after the announcement my discord went crazy Gambit saying I told them you did not want to be Director yet. I gave him grief for weeks, but I was excited and proud to join the amazing Director Team. He's listened to me yell and scream then offer guidance and support to me and the people I'm over. He's never not been there for me and that is the kind of leaders needs in KSI. Category: Div Leader Gamertag: KSIfiremomma7 Forums Account Link: @KSIfiremomma7 Reasons they deserve this award - When I first met Firemomma she was tough and hurt by all the wrong she had been dealt. Then I became Director and was given DL after a few months. When I was given my second shot with DL I pulled Firemomma and her Co-Div into a party and put every issue problem and ugly truth out on the table. I told them WE either fix it or I will recommend the Div be merged. She yelled and screamed and probably cried at this darkness. But that next day I watched as this Div Leader pulled her GENs into a party and gave them the hard truth. With the up most grace she told these GENs what had to be done and the changes that were to come. I witnessed this leader make changes in how she lead this Div. She is one of the most beloved Div Leaders I know. This Div will fight for Firemomma at a moments notice. She maybe tough on the outside but she cares deeply for DL and its members and KSI. I for one am very proud of the strides she has made in becoming a better leader for her Div. Category: Co-Founder Gamertag: KSIxRomeo 7 Forums Account Link: @KSIxROMEO 7 Reasons they deserve this award - This kid was a great addition to the 7 staff for DM. Hes been an acting GEN but still filled his duties as Co-Fo. The members of DM always look to him for help and guidance. Romeo participates is as many game nights as he can with DM, and if you DM there are at least 3 game nights going a night across the Div. He works really hard to be there for DM. Hes not afraid to speak his concerns or thoughts with his Div Leader or his Director. He will do great things for DM and KSI in the future and i look forward to seeing what he can do.

  4. KSI DropShot 7 OS Level 1

    When I became DL's Director DropShot was a Roostery but respectful GEN. As their new Director I took a few days to get to know some of the GENs and officers of this Division. Meeting DropShot was a surprise all in its own. Here is this KID in collage running a squad in a Xbox gaming community and is so full of knowledge I was instantly a fan. DropShot had such a strong squad and officers that worked hard and wanted to learn. He never beat around the bush so to speak with his squad he was always up front and to the point with them. As I sat and listen to KSIfiremomma7 give her Division the hard reality check about the fate of DL this KID without missing a beat said 'ok Momma what do you need us to do". From that point on I watched this KID put his squad to work to not only move is squad forward but help one of the other squads that was struggling. As DL began to move forward and start to turn things around and look to a new future I knew this KID was set for greatness. Adding him to the 7's team was a no brainier and probably one of the best decisions DL made. DropShot has had a long history in KSI and never reached a 7 seat till now, and let me tell you this KID should of been here a long time ago. Hes added to this 7 staff the last piece of balance it needed. He is not afraid to challenge KSIfiremomma7 or KSI Prophecy v7 if he feels there is a better way to do something. He's always willing to share his knowledge with members and let them bounce ideas off of him for their squads. He can be found gaming with all ranks in his division or just simply hanging out in a party with members to chit chat and goof off. Not that I need to but this KID is a KSI Judge and is on the Marketing Team and T & E Team as well. I can not tell you how amazing this KID is it was a privileged to work with him and get to know him. I am excited for DL's future and to see the amazing things this KID can do for not only DL but KSI as well.

    When i was Dir for DL i witnessed KSI Prophecy v7 doing so many great things for the Div. From a simple name change to buying a kid the DLC’s for Destiny 2 so they could continue to play with the squad. He’s given out too many Name Changes to count to give a member an opportunity to become a great leader for his Div or KSI. KSI Prophecy v7 purchased Crash Bandicoot for me

  7. KSI Division Leaders Meeting Notes 11/07/18 ~~Clan OPS~~ Turkey Bowl * Signups will be posted on the first of November. Please get with your members and push the events and get teams set up. Event sign ups will close 48 hours prior to the event starting so that T&E can properly staff it’s events. (7s) New 7s notes format * A new 7s meeting note format has been posted in all of your division sections. Please take a look at the new format, any questions can be directed to KSI Gambit 7 at the Division meeting this Thursday or you can message any Senior with questions. Update: This format is to be completely filled out and posted on a weekly basis. The healthiest way to do so is to rotate the responsibility between ALL MEMBERS of the current 7 staff. This is something that will be continuously discussed and reviewed. Discord Role System topic * There will be a topic posted in the Leaders Discussion area that will outline the roles, their permissions and the responsibilities of each role. The goal is to get every division’s leadership to work in unison with senior leadership to get every server on this system, we’ve taken months to listen to feedback and make this system as user-friendly and efficient as possible. Any feedback is appreciated, and welcomed! Directors * For those who’s divisions have changed you will be allotted a week to co-tackle the division so the new director can learn with an informative guide and the departing director can clean up any last ties and wishes with the division in question. Head-Hunters Poll * Head Hunters is a community wide event designed with the intention of sparking friendly competition amongst the divisions, while giving our more competitive players a venue to show off their skills and represent their divisions. This being said, it is the people of this communities right to have a say in what game / game types they would like to play in or watch throughout the season. Friday (11/9/18) A poll will go live on the forums in which members will be able to vote on which title the first 2019 Head Hunters season will take place on, as well as the ability to express desired game types. The poll will be live for 2 weeks so please encourage all members to vote! Making Decisions * When you are making decisions for your division, there should be a multitude of factors to take in consideration. Make sure that you consult your 7 staff or officer staff depending on your role to get their opinions and views. They are experts on your division/squad as much as you are. Once you come to a decision and plan to roll out the change, make sure to thoroughly explain why you came to that decision. If you can’t defend your decision then maybe it’s not a good decision, it’s your roll to make sure that all decisions made are to better the division backed by solid reasoning. Those explanations will make the process smooth as well as shows your members that you care about them by giving them the time and reasoning. Member Retention * This week, try and find someone in your squad or division to game with that you wouldn't usually! One problem with fast growing squads is that they forget one fundamental thing, recruiting the members is only half the battle, keeping those members engaged and active is just as important as recruiting! So get out there and game with some people !!! ~~Departments~~ News Notes • November’s SYTYCW is open! The topic is 2018 KSI Reflections. Head to the News Section to make your submission today! HSI Notes • HSI applications are open through Saturday, 11/13. Head to the Join a Department section to apply! • KSI’s Divisional History sections have been organized and refurbished. Starting this month, divisional history will be recorded in a simple, 2-step process. Step 1: During the last week of the month, HSI staff will meet briefly with their assigned HSI Liaisons (Clan Ops Leaders) to get detailed updates concerning the month’s past events in their division. Step 2: The following week, HSI Staff will use that information to update each division’s history thread in the HSI Divisional History Section. (History Update threads have been placed in each division’s section on the forums. These may be utilized by Generals and higher to informally record events as they happen. These posts will be used as reference when HSI staff meet with Clan Ops Leaders once a month.) • HSI currently needs reps from DL, EO, ES and WD! KSI Divisional Meeting Notes Oct 17, 2018 **Clan OPS** Human Resources * HR representatives are here to help with situations that Leaders of the community on a divisional level aren’t trained, or experienced enough to deal with. HR’s purpose is to be an objective resource that members and leaders can use in scenarios they may not be able to handle. HR should also be a resource for anyone in KSI can use to vent frustrations or ask advise of. Current HR staff includes: KSI VeRiiTaS 7, KSI December 77, and is being headed by KSI HAVOC 7. The Ops Server * The Ops server is the central hub for leadership in KSI. With that being said, it's worth noting that involvement in that server is a mandatory requirement for being a leader in clan ops. This ensures that all 7s are in the loop, and are informed. 7’s * Please make sure you’re not only helping squads through their endeavors, but are also actively trying to sustain and diversify your divisions squads. Healthy squads make healthy divisions, which open up many opportunities for the division to accomplish a lot of things. 7’s and squads alike can all play their parts to help the division flow. Goal Tracking/Achievement: It has been a recent trend across the community to set goals that will better help the division in the long run in a multitude of different ways. While this is excellent, progress towards a goal does not count as its completion and should not be mistaken as a complete success. With that, it is imperative to track divisional goals week to week addressing the reasoning the division did or did not achieve the goal while formulating a plan to improve and further progress. With that, a new structure/rubric will be provided for weekly 7s meeting notes to be filled out, submitted, and discussed each week. Discord Safety: Divisional 7 staffs, please remain vigilant in watching your discord servers. At least once a month, 7’s should come through the members in their server to make sure that discord tags are recognizable and can be associated with the members listed on Omega. Join/Rejoin Area: From this point on, the lowest rank eligible to post up proxy join or rejoin applications will be a General. Please make sure that you are posting proxy applications for the right reasons. For example, if someone is confused on how to submit an application on the forums, take the opportunity to train them on how to do so. **Department Notes** Produtions * Productions is looking for Dedicated Streamers from any Division . Weather it be game nights or workshops/meetings if the party gets full make another party to accommodate the excess member's. Never be satisfied with a full lobby go above and beyond that. No one while they are in our community should have the feeling of being ignored or alone if they feel that way let's change that perspective. Also invite members appearing offline just in case they are not really appearing offline and Xbox is being awful.
  10. KSI ODINN 7 OS Level 2 (Silver Outstanding)

    What can anyone say about Odinn. As my time as Director for LS I was highly impressed with his leadership and willingness to as i say “get dirty” with the division. It’s not very often you find a seated 7 that wil got out and RCT someone just because they had the time. I know LS has had its ups and downs but the one thing you can always count on is Akame and Odinn standing tall and pushing through the crap. He is not only dedicated to the 7 staff but he is also dedicated to all of LS’s members and officers. He makes sure that all new RCTs feel welcome and will game with just about anyone. His presence is seen all over LS. His leadership and work ethic for LS and KSI is second to none. I know KSI could use more amazing leaders like Odinn.
  11. KSI Cherry 7 - OS Level 1 & 2 Nomination

    Wow where to begin with this amazing leader. I had the honor and privilege of working with Cherry as a shiny new Dir. I went to one of WDs GENs meetings and was in awe of her from the start. It was so awesome to see the how well she commanded the room well party chat in this case. They all were attentive and just listened and learned. She has done so many great things for WD leading them to the greatness they are. Cherry was like myself in not wanting to be a Dir because she had things still to do in WD, but knew a time would come she would have to leave. She joined the Dir Team and hit the ground running. She took her two Divs and has had some bumps but with her grace and great leadership she has guided them to the right path. She always is out there gaming with her squads as a Div Leader and with her Divs as a Dir. Then to show this community one more time what an amazing leader she is she joined the P.O. team. Cherry is an amazing leader she takes the time to chat, vent if you need it, or just listen. She works her butt off for KSI and that kind of leadership is hard to find. So yes Cherry deserves OS1 and OS2 with leaps and bounds.
