KSI Folkstyle 73 Posted November 12, 2018 Report Share Posted November 12, 2018 KSI WarPriest 7: Regarding DNH: although this was at first alarming upon review of his DNH removal I don't believe that his DNH should receive him much of a negative impact. He seemed to be on a misguided path that he later regretted and learned from. He learned from that poor decision and it molded him into the leader he is today. Regarding DHoF witnesses: although quite a few of them were short and lacking detail there were two very informative and positively influencing witnesses, Verittas' was especially enlightening. Having many witnesses from many highly regarded members definitely gives him a few points in my book as well. Regarding past awards: master recruiter, OS lvl 1, and mentor are all awards that demonstrate his dedication to the division, the witnesses also brought some light on his willingness to give back. Final decision: I'd have to give WarPriest a yes, the information provided that he demonstrated exactly what I believe we try to look for in these DHoF nominations. His Mentor/Member Assistance/Trainer/OS1 awards speak volumes on his behalf - as do the quality of statements he received from his 4 witnesses. Warpriest - Yes For me, this is a classic example of someone making a mistake, acknowledging it and working to fix their reputation (evidenced by his time in FI - Mentor/Splitter/Recruiter awards while in that division) and then going on to become a very mature and valuable member of the community. Warpriest I also stayed out of because I felt my view was skewed from FI. In her witness statement, Officer Pup claims she was a Co-Fo under Airborne. Can't find any record of that (on her old or new forums profile) or anyone from that time frame who can confirm it. Not sure if inaccurate witness statements have any type of impact on nominations but I definitely wouldn't want it to interfere with this one. Normally, wouldn't have said anything. I was very impressed with the detailed posts made by FadeZ, Greenday and Arc in particular. All these members have previous ties to DR (one of them is already in the DR HoF himself) and can definitely speak with authority about Airborne's contributions to that division. It's a yes from me. Going from all of the witness statements posted you can tell that Mr. Gump put a lot into his squad and his squad got a lot out of him. He is definitely worthy of making it into the DHoF. Although he didnt have an insane quantity of witness statements, he had extremely detailed witness statements from extremely respected members.
